Privacy Policy

1. Scope and operator

This Privacy Policy explains how LEAD TRADE ZONE LLC (“ClipTap,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use cliptap.us, ClipTap digital profiles, account tools, AI features, QR codes, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

2. Information we collect

Account and profile information

We collect information you provide, such as your email address, name, profile address, biography, headline, profile photo, colors, links, and account preferences. Information you publish on a profile is available to anyone with the profile link and may be indexed, copied, or shared by others.

Visitor-shared contact information

A visitor may choose to share a name, email address, phone number, or note with a profile owner. ClipTap does not reveal a visitor’s contact information merely because the visitor views or taps a profile. Contact information is collected only after the visitor submits it and indicates consent.

Payments and subscriptions

Stripe processes payments, subscriptions, invoices, promotion codes, refunds, and billing details. ClipTap receives transaction identifiers, customer identifiers, subscription status, product, price, and limited billing information needed to provide the Service. ClipTap does not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes.

AI feature information

When you request an AI-generated profile, we process the instructions, business description, existing profile content, and URLs you submit. If you provide a public business website, ClipTap may retrieve and analyze a limited amount of public text from that page for the generation you requested. That content and your prompt may be sent to our AI service provider to generate a response. Do not submit private pages, passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, health information, or other highly sensitive information in an AI prompt.

Usage, device, and support information

We may collect IP address, browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, profile views, link clicks, QR scans, tag taps when enabled, referring pages, errors, security events, and the contents of support requests and problem reports.

3. How we use information

• Provide, operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
• Create accounts, authenticate users, save profiles, and deliver account-recovery messages.
• Publish profile information at the user’s direction.
• Deliver visitor contact submissions to the applicable profile owner.
• Generate AI-assisted profile content and track generation allowances.
• Process purchases, subscriptions, invoices, promotion codes, cancellations, and refunds.
• Measure performance, prevent abuse, comply with law, and enforce our agreements.

4. How we disclose information

• At your direction: Public profile content is shown to visitors, and visitor-submitted contact information is delivered to the applicable profile owner.
• To service providers: We use providers for infrastructure, storage, email, AI generation, payments, security, and analytics. Core providers may include Cloudflare, Stripe, Anthropic, and an email-delivery provider.
• For legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or secure the Service.
• In a business transaction: Information may transfer as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use visitor-submitted contact details to create unrelated marketing lists.

5. Public profiles and your choices

You control whether a profile is published and what it contains. Avoid publishing information you do not want publicly accessible. Removing information from ClipTap does not remove copies previously saved, indexed, or shared by third parties. Profile owners are independently responsible for how they use contact information visitors choose to share with them.

6. Cookies and account security

ClipTap uses essential cookies to maintain secure account sessions and may use limited analytics and security technologies. We do not store passwords in the current passwordless sign-in system. Sign-in links are time-limited and should be treated as confidential.

7. Data retention

We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Authentication tokens expire automatically. We may retain limited transaction and security records after account deletion when legally permitted or required.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed for the information we process, including encrypted network connections, access controls, secure session cookies, restricted secrets, and third-party payment processing. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Notify us promptly if you believe an account or sign-in link has been compromised.

9. Your rights and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information, and to appeal a denied request. You may edit profile information through your account and cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal. We may verify your identity before completing a request.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users under the age of majority may use the Service only with permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

11. International use

ClipTap is operated from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy as the Service changes. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. Material changes apply prospectively unless otherwise permitted.
